Clarence P Knepper (Palmdale, US)
Easy to fill.

What some find to be a disadvantage with this pill sorter I find an advantage. The ability to remove the snap tops greatly makes refilling much faster. The entire row of tops comes out as a unit allowing you to refill the compartments much faster.

Thanks for the feedback Clarence! Yes, we did design the pill splitter to be much easier to refill. We found that having the lids removable made it much easier to refill, especially for those with weak or arthritic hands.

Changed the Case

I only recently discovered that quite a while ago the case for these was changed to use less plastic and now, when you have a number of pills and try to fill the compartments by removing the cover and then reinserting it after filling the compartments, the pills hinder the reinserting of the cover. This is due to the change from a solid back wall of the pill compartments to a wall with a "U" shaped area without any plastic between the pills and the tab of the cover that needs to be inserted.

I only discovered this when I switched to a newer planner this week. I looked at the store and here online and discovered that it appears to be the case currently. The only reason I might surmise for the change in the case is to save the cost of the plastic to have a solid back wall for the pill compartments. This decision was certainly not considering the issue it might cause the customer in refilling the planner weekly.

I liked my previous planner very much , but will now be looking for one that has a solid wall to keep the pills from conflicting with the insertion of the cover tabs. I'll not be recommending this 7 Day MediPlanner. It has added twice the time to fill it.
